3D creation ecosystem
Imagine. Create in 3D. Bring ideas to life.
UbMaker turns a sketch, a photo or a sentence into a 3D object ready to fabricate. The Studio opens in your browser; four extensions carry the work into Rhino and Grasshopper.

The workflow
One idea, four gestures.
01
Sketch
Draw with a mouse, a stylus with pressure and tilt, or a pinch of your fingers in front of the camera. Drawing planes, symmetry and layers are ready from the first stroke.
02
Augment
An image or a sentence becomes a 3D object you can keep editing. Depth, pose and hands are analysed in the browser.
03
Refine
Booleans, sculpting, node editing and smooth shape blending: AI suggests, you decide.
04
Fabricate
Repair the mesh, add supports, slice in the browser and export to STL, OBJ, GLB or G-code.
The ecosystem
From the browser to Rhino, all the way to the printer.
The Studio is live. The four extensions are in beta: they work, and their public release is being prepared.
UbDesigner Studio
Availablev2.0The 3D workshop in your browser: spatial drawing, AI, print preparation.

Who it's for
Built for people who make things.
Schools and FabLabs
A browser is all you need: no installation for IT to approve.
Product designers
From sketch to printed prototype, with renders to present your work.
Makers
Woven walls and relief textures that a slicer can't produce.
Research
Born in a design lab.
UbMaker builds on work carried out at the Hybridlab of the Université de Montréal on moving from immersive sketching to physical objects.
Your first shape in minutes.
